At the surgery we can clip pets in 'fashion' or breed styles, or simply cut their coats shorter for the hot Summer months. Bathing, Conditioning and Grooming of long-haired cats and dogs is available.

All animals are given a bath after grooming. Special insecticide baths can be arranged for animals who suffer from parasites.

Your animal can have its nails clipped and, if necessary, their teeth will be cleaned. This is a surgical procedure requiring the animal to be put under sedation. You can find more information about teeth cleaning by reading our FAQ section.

In most cases, your animal will be ready to pick up on the afternoon of the day when you drop off your animal (provided you drop off the animal in the morning).

Some animals do not mind being groomed, but others find it stressful and will not sit still. We prefer to sedate animals that don't like being groomed, as this makes the process less stressful for the pet and the groomer. Do not feed your pet breakfast when they are coming to be groomed, as sedation can make them nauseous if they have eaten.
